They say that love makes the world go around but you and I both know that’s not true. I think that love is grand but lust is so much better. There is nothing like pure animalistic unbridled physical lust to keep a body happy. I mean, have you been in ‘love’ with every person you have ever been with? I sure as hell haven’t. Love tends to be too complicated for this woman so I tend to fly solo with an occasional stop in ‘lust-ville.’
My latest foray into the land of lust was at a bar I frequent when I am in town. It’s a small comfortable little bar that happens to cater to the plus sized community and it just suits my fancy. We can’t party every weekend in the city without getting burnt out so when I am home I just like to kick it with my pals at the local watering hole.
That’s where I met Eddie. He was sitting alone at the bar nursing a drink. He was a lot smaller in stature than the usual man I am attracted to but for some reason this dark fellow caught my eye. I asked my girlfriend if she knew who he was but she didn’t so I decided to feel him out.
It turned out that feeling him out was not that difficult at all. Most of the evening he sat with his back to the bar, facing our table scoping US out. The problem was I couldn’t really tell if he was checking me out or one of my sexy companions. (You do realize us sexy fat girls travel in packs don’t ya? *wink*) Regardless, he sat staring at our table most of the evening, talking to no one and nursing the same drink. I wondered if he was just shy or something since he obviously liked something he saw but had yet to make any type of move.
The night was uneventful at best, just a bunch of chunky chicks hanging out the bar, catching up on the latest gossip and dancing to a few tunes. This night in particular the deejay was really bad so I was a bit annoyed. I absolutely HATE when deejays allow periods of dead air between songs! There is nothing worse than interrupting my groove! So anyway I am dancing with my girlfriends when I notice ‘dark boy’ at the bar staring at us again. I decided to stare back. I mean he WAS cute after all, just not as big shouldered or barrel-chested as the men I am usually attracted to. He had the looks of a serious professional, someone who might have been an investment broker or something along those lines. He seemed very shy yet confident in the way he was staring. This fact alone drove me wild. I mean what was he going to accomplish by staring? Nothing….
